Mother-of-two seeks Irish stem cell donors

A woman diagnosed with acute myeloid leukaemia last December is seeking a perfect match to her stem cell type from people who share her ethnic background. Nikki Braterman, 45, from Brighton, is of Anglo-Burmese and Irish descent, but because of the rare cytogenetic abnormality of her disease, she is at high risk of relapse following chemotherapy.
