Tiny fish makes big splash in aging research at Stanford

Researchers disabled aging-associated genes in the short-lived African killifish, including one for an enzyme called telomerase, whose absence caused humanlike disease in the animal. Anne Brunet and her colleagues have found that the short-lived African killifish is a useful model for studying the aging process.
