Study finds body clock protects metabolic health

UC Irvine biochemist Bogi Andersen has discovered how the body's circadian rhythms may effect aging. Credit: Paul R. Kennedy UC Irvine scientists studying the role of circadian rhythms in skin stem cells found that this clock plays a key role in coordinating daily metabolic cycles and cell division.
