Girard alum helps pave way for new medical research

It's a Valley success story in the making; a graduate of Girard High School is paving the way for new opportunities in medical research. Scientists at Cincinnati Children's Hospital have used a human stem cell to make the first-ever, functional, miniature human stomach.
