Participants sought for study of stem-cell therapy for peripheral arterial disease

The Stanford University School of Medicine is recruiting people with peripheral arterial disease for a clinical trial to determine whether injections of adult stem cells into leg muscles will promote the growth of new blood vessels and relieve pain associated with the condition.
