Benefits of 'Ginkgo biloba' revealed

Researchers at the University of Toledo, Ohio, found that Ginkgo biloba treated mice had enhanced neurogenesis, partly due to the increased protein expression of hemeoxygenase 1, an antioxidant gene that also has a role in neurogenesis.
