Philanthropist gives $650m to Broad Institute for psychiatric research

In the last five years, the understanding of the biological causes of mental illnesses such as schizophrenia and bipolar disorder has accelerated Philanthropist Ted Stanley has gifted $650m to the Broad Institute as part of a wider attempt to galvanize research on psychiatric disorders and bring new treatments to market.
