Albany Medical College researcher gets $1.5 million research grant

Katherine MacNamara, an assistant professor at Albany Medical College, has received a $1.5 million, five-year grant from the National Institutes of Health, National Institute of General Medical Sciences. The grant will advance her research into the role of stem cell function in the body's defense against a variety of infectious diseases.
