The BioFlorida Annual Life Sciences Conference, a two-day event beginning today in Fort Lauderdale, is just one way developers, scientists, entrepreneurs and investors can learn about what is going on behind closed doors in labs and companies all across the state. "We've got a lot of innovation going on in Florida; there's an influx in new independently represented centers as well as larger biotech companies expanding," said Dawn Johnson , programming chair for the 2014 BioFlorida Annual Life Sciences Conference.
