A pioneering non-invasive genetic test for unborn babies developed by Chinese University professor Dennis Lo Yuk-ming has opened a can of worms fraught with moral and ethical issues, a visiting US bioethics expert said. In an interview with The Standard, Columbia University professor of psychiatry Robert Klitzman said 10 years ago a project to sequence the human DNA involved more than US$1 billion .
