Experimental multiple sclerosis therapy stops disease in its tracks

Alexandre Normandin, who is a practising physician, says after being diagnosed with MS he gained more empathy for his patients. The Ottawa Hospital and the University of Ottawa have received a $4.2 million grant to support a clinical trial for stem cell therapy targeted at multiple sclerosis patients.
