Dying nurse was victim of health postcode lottery

A WIDOWER has spoken of his anger after his wife had to spend her final weeks planning a move across the border to access drugs not available on the NHS in Wales. Mrs Chalk, of Birch Croft, Mancot, was initially diagnosed with the cancer in 2004, with doctors telling her she had between three and five years left to live.
