Geron Corporation today announced the publication of preclinical data demonstrating activity of the company's telomerase inhibitor drug, imetelstat, on leukemic stem cells from acute myelogenous leukemia . In addition, the preclinical study showed the role of telomerase in AML disease initiation and progression.
