The Madison stem cell company founded by University of Wisconsin-Madison stem cell research pioneer James Thomson is being acquired by Tokyo-based Fujifilm Holdings Corp. for $307 million. Cellular Dynamics International Inc. was established in 2004 and now produces a variety of induced pluripotent stem cells for a uses in research and therapeutics.
