Campaigners vow to continue fight to protect Redbridge Music Service

The decision was made at a consultation with the cabinet this week following feedback from users of the Barkingside-based centre. The future of the service - which will be celebrating its 50th anniversary this year - was uncertain as the council proposed to reduce its funding from A 370,000 to zero over a two-year period, contributing to saving A 70m from its budget.
