New Delhi, Feb. 8: Sections of cancer specialists and other researchers have dubbed a recent study that had suggested that most cancers were rooted in bad luck "dangerously misleading", saying it understated the role of prevention in the cause of cancers. The researchers from institutions in North America and Europe have also said the study by two scientists at the Johns Hopkins University in the US that had highlighted the role of chance in cancers had ignored some of the most common cancers and over-sampled rare cancers.
