Two UC San Diego researchers will receive almost $3 million in new grants to pursue new technologies intended to accelerate advances moving stem-cell therapies out of the lab and into the clinic. Both scientists are affiliated with the Qualcomm Institute and they have mentored students in the Calit2 Summer Undergraduate Research Scholars program.
